Mattituck-Laurel Free Library's Budget Approved
Voters from Greenport and Oysterponds school districts voted on the $1.3 million on Tuesday.

The Mattituck-Laurel Free Library’s spending plan of $1.3 million was approved on Tuesday, Sept. 23, The Suffolk Times reports.
The 2015 spending plan of $1.349 million, $41,000 more than last year’s budget, was passed by a 56 to 10 vote, according to The Suffolk Times.
Voters from Greenport and Oysterponds school districts, voted on a proposed budget of $1 million with a 1.45 percent tax rate. Both districts have a tax rate of $34.046 for every thousand dollars of assessed value.
