New Fitness Room at Greenport High School, Donated By Peconic Landing
The value of the equipment is approximately $20,000, according to Peconic Landing.

GREENPORT, NY - Students at Greenport High Schools will find themselves able to work out in a new fitness room, thanks to Peconic Landing.
A ribbon cutting for the new fitness room was held Monday; the district has converted its old wrestling room into a fitness room.
Peconic Landing donated its used equipment to the school, officials said.

"Peconic Landing is a proud supporter of Greenport Schools," Robert J. Syron, president and CEO of Peconic Landing said. "This is a win for the kids and we know the equipment will be put to good use."
Equipment donated included an SCI.Fit, an recumbent exercise bike, two Landice treadmills, a Biodex upright exercise bike·a Quantum Abdominal/back extension, for back and abdominal strength, one Quantum multi-hip, for hip strength, mobility, and range of motion, and one Quantum lat pull down, for shoulders and back strength.

Three other pieces were also donated, for a total of 10 pieces of equipment, with current used value estimated at $20,000, Peconic Landing representatives said.
All equipment donated is professional, commercial grade.
