🌱 North Fork Daily: Osprey Nest + Crate & Barrel + DWI Charge

Happy Saturday, North Fork neighbors and friends! One of the most beloved harbingers of spring is the return of the osprey to their nests. On Friday, PSEG Long Island headed out to Southold to safely transfer an osprey nest that was perched unsafely in a spot where live electric wires were located, to a pole across the street. The effort was one of a series of initiatives PSEG Long Island has embarked upon to keep the now-flourishing osprey population safe. Also, there are new osprey cams, so you can watch the return to nests across Long Island. If you have osprey photos to share, send them to Lisa.Finn@patch.com for a future post.
