North Fork Woman Charged With DWI After Crash With Parked Car: PD
She also left the scene, police say.
GREENPORT, NY — An East Marion woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a crash involving a parked car in Greenport recently, police said.
Jillian Vandernorth, 42, was arrested on April 23 at 10:19 p.m. on Center Street in Greenport and charged with DWI, first offense; aggravated DWI: per se, no prior; aggravated leaving the scene of a property damage accident; operator leaving the scene of a property damage accident; and a seat belt violation, Southold Town police said.
Police responded to the crash involving a parked car; the driver of a Honda Civic who had left the scene was located by police and identified as Vandernorth, police said.

After police performed field sobriety tests, Vandernoth was found to be intoxicated, authorities said. She was placed under arrest, transported to Southold Town police headquarters, processed and held for arraignment, police said.
