Oysterponds School recently kicked off the holiday season with a standing room only holiday concert entitled “Ring the Bells” on Wednesday night.
The program included a stellar rendition of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “Footprints in the Snow” performed by the violin ensemble of 38 students ranging from Kindergarten through the 6th grade.
The Oysterponds violin program was open to any student who wished to participate for the fourth year in a row.

In addition, Peconic Landing hosted a special simulcast performance of Mozart’s ”The Magic Flute” last Thursday attended by the Intermediate 1 and 2 classes.
On Wednesday, the holiday recess will be launched with the traditional PTA sponsored breakfast and photos with Santa followed by an early dismissal.
