Paper Shredding Event In Peconic Saturday

The event begins at 9 a.m. behind the town's recreation center on Peconic Lane Saturday.

PECONIC, NY — If you've got piles of paper to shred, head on over to the Southold Town Recreation Saturday.

Southold Town holds periodic document shredding events for residents. The events give residents the opportunity to dispose of sensitive documents efficiently and securely.

In 2018 the town is offering the service through Shred-It, Inc. of Westbury, which provides a mobile shredding vehicle capable of holding up to 10 tons of shredded paper.
