Peconic Recycling and Transfer Station Open For Business
The facility are up and running as of last Monday.

The owners of the Mattituck Environmental Services, Jon DiVello and Stanley Lomangino recently announced that the Peconic Recycling and Transfer Station in Cutchogue is now open and running, according to a report in The Suffolk Times.
The facility took almost eight years and $8 million before opening and can now sort and process commercial construction and demolition waste, according to the report. The center can also process materials from the Mattituck Environmental Services and other outside carters and can sort recyclables like paper, plastic, metal and more to be resold, according to The Suffolk Times.
The transfer station was operating fully staff for the first time last Monday, Feb. 23. The companies hired 20 new employees, according to the report.
