"We are so proud of the entire class of 2016. I've known these kids since they started kindergarten. They have all grown up to be the kindest, most caring young adults. I am so honored to have been able to watch them go from adorable young children to amazing young adults. They are all so close and I know their friendships will continue on even though they will now go their separate ways. Their bond is so strong. I look forward to see what the future holds for each and every one of the Class of 2016. Congratulations. You did it."
George and Maria Giannaris, whose son Yianni will be attending MIT along with friend and fellow graduate Dylan Marlborough, said, "Maria and I are still in a dream-like state. We are unbelievably proud and humbled to have our son attend MIT and feel just as proud of Dylan."
