SOUTHOLD, NY — Soggy skies couldn't put a damper on the spirits of students heading back to the Southold Union Free School District Tuesday morning.
Dressed in new outfits and sporting colorful new backpacks, the kids filed off the big yellow school bus and headed happily into the building, greeting school staffers and fellow students will smiles and laughter.
