Man With Outstanding Warrants Arrested After Giving Police Fake Name: Cops
The man was found reportedly intoxicated at the Greenport Ferry Terminal, police say.

GREENPORT, NY - A Southold man was arrested for giving police fake names in order to cover up the face that he had two outstanding warrants on Saturday evening, according to Southold Town Police.
Police responded to a report of two intoxicated males at the Greenport Ferry Terminal at about 5 p.m.
The manager of the terminal reported that Richard Kurdt, 46, and another man were sleeping in the terminal and urinating inside and outside of the building, according to police.

Upon investigation, Kurdt lied about his identity to cover up the fact he had two outstanding warrants in Southold Town, police said.
He was arrested and charged with false personation and the two warrants, according to police.

The other man was released and told not to return to the terminal, police said.
Kurdt was arrested in August after threatening to assault a man in the parking lot of the Mattituck 7-Eleven, police said.
