Prayers For Las Vegas Victims At Greenport Interfaith Service

The entire community is invited to the service Wednesday, Father Richard Hoerning of Saint Agnes Church says.

GREENPORT, NY — The world has been left reeling by the deadliest mass shooting in modern United States history, which took place at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas.

On the North Fork, residents will come together to heal devastated hearts, join hands and hearts, and get through their grief as they have, so many times, in the face of tragedy — with prayer.

An Interfaith Prayer Service for Las Vegas will be held at Saint Agnes R.C. Church, located at 523 Front Street in Greenport, on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m.
