Residents Invited to Have a Say in Final Phase of Town's Vision for Land Use
A series of meetings will be held around town beginning this week.
NORTH FORK, NY - Residents who love Southold and want to have a say in shaping its future are invited to a series of meetings based on the land use chapter of the town's comprehensive plan update.
The land use chapter is the tenth of 11 draft chapters, and is now ready for public review and comment.

Residents can also request a copy be emailed to them; a paper copy is also on file at the local libraries beginning Monday.
The public is invited to discuss the chapter with the town board and planning board and provide input at a series of meetings:

Peconic and Southold:
Saturday, April 23 at 10 a.m. at the Peconic Community Center, 1170 Peconic Lane, Peconic
East Marion, Greenport West and Orient:
Thursday, April 28 at 7 p.m. at the Peconic Landing Auditorium, Greenport
Cutchogue, Mattituck/ Laurel and New Suffolk:
Saturday, April 30 at 10 a.m. at the Town Senior Center, 750 Pacific Street, Mattituck
Each meeting will feature a focus on specific hamlets.
