Southold Fire Department Hosts Blood Drive

The drive set a new record, collecting over 100 pints of blood.

The Southold Fire Department held their semi-annual Blood Drive last Wednesday, Nov. 5, according to SoutholdLocal.

Southold Fire Chaplain Joe McCarthy told SoutholdLocal that the drive set a new record of donations, collecting 107 pints total.

“A huge thank you to all who gave of themselves to make a very real difference in the lives of others in need,” McCarthy said, according to SoutholdLocal. “What a beautiful thing to do.”
