SUV Driver Injured After Crashing Into Tree in Southold
BREAKING: The driver was taken by ambulance to the hospital with "non-life threatening" injuries, an EMT at the scene said.
SOUTHOLD, NY — A driver was injured after crashing into a tree in Southold Monday morning, according to officials.
The accident took place around 10 a.m. Monday morning at the intersection of Old North Road and Route 48, near One Woman Winery; according to an alert, the driver may have been partially ejected from the vehicle, but that could not be immediately confirmed.
At least one person was transported by Southold Fire Department to a local hospital, EMTs on the site said; injuries were not initially believed to be life-threatening.
