Town Announces Snow-Related Closings
Saturday's blast of Mother Nature means a full slate of closures around town.
SOUTHOLD, NY — Saturday's blast of Old Man Winter have led to a number of closings around Southold Town due to the snowstorm.
According to Southold Town Supervisor Scott Russell, the town's transfer station will be closing at 11:45 a.m. Saturday; there will also be a delayed opening of 9 a.m. on Sunday.
All other facilities and programs are canceled, including programs offered at the Recreation Center, Russell said.
