Town Justice Primary Election Results

The elections to nominate the primary candidates for Southold Town Justice were held on Thursday.

Voters hit the polls to elect the primary candidates for Southold Town Justice on Thursday.

For the Conservative Party, William C. Goggins, with 38 votes, beat out Eileen A. Powers, who received 25 votes and Brian J. Hughes, who received 9 votes, according to the Suffolk County Board of Elections.

However, Powers won the Independence nomination with 25 votes, beating Goggins, who received 24 votes and Hughes with 13 votes, according to the Board.

But Goggins beat out Powers again for the Republican vote, 526-390, according to the Board.
