Town of Southold to Host Emergency Shelter Orientation Classes
Volunteers interested in helping out during storms or other emergencies are encouraged to attend the classes.

The Town of Southold will be hosting Emergency Shelter Orientation Classes within the next week for volunteers interested in helping out during storms or other emergencies.
There will be two opportunities to attend this two and one half hour program: Saturday, July 18 from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday, July 22 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The program will be held at the Southold Community Center on 970 Peconic Lane in Peconic.

The free class will introduce and review the skills needed to open and staff a Southold Town Emergency Shelter during a hurricane or other emergencies.
