Transportation Summit Wednesday In Southold

SOUTHOLD, NY — With traffic woes an escalating concern on the North Fork and entire East End, officials are joining forces Wednesday to seek solutions.

A transportation summit will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Southold Recreation Center on Peconic Lane; the meeting was organized by the town's transportation commission and will include a discussion with elected officials and representatives of various town, county and state agencies, Southold Town Supervisor Scott Russell said.
