Woman Suffers Head Injury in Greenport Crash
The woman was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital.

A New York City woman was hospitalized after an accident in Greenport on Monday morning, according to Southold Town Police.
Barbara Fowler, 47, of Salem, New Hampshire, was driving her 2008 Dodge Caliber eastbound on CR 48 and Middleton Road in Greenport when Suzanna Galanis, 55, stepped out into the roadway and hit Fowlers’ car, police said.
Galanis suffered a head injury, according to police.

Greenport Fire Department rescue responded, treated and transported Galanis to Moores Lane in Greenport, police said.
Suffolk County Police Department Aviation then transported Galanis to Stony Brook University Hospital, police said.
