Zeldin To Host First Facebook Live Session Tuesday Night
The Facebook event will take place Tuesday night.

Rep. Lee Zeldin has turned to social media to inform residents that he will host his first Facebook Live session on Tuesday night.
The session will take place at 7:30 p.m. on his Facebook page.
"I will host my first Facebook Live session on this Facebook page from Washington, DC to provide an update on my work in Congress and answer questions from constituents from the comfort of your homes," he wrote. "Throughout the Facebook Live session, NY-1 constituents can comment and ask a question. If you’re unable to participate, please leave your question here. I look forward to answering your questions!"

For months, some residents have been demanding an in-person Town Hall meeting with the congressman, holding rallies and galvanizing with a plea to be heard face to face.

In February, Zeldin also hosted a Telephone Town Hall that had some residents saying their questions were not answered and others saying they thought it was a good idea but wished the session had lasted longer.
