Two teenagers were injured in a single-car crash early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
According to officials, a Honda Accord struck a tree on Cuba Hill Road near Elbormar Drive. The two teens were transported to Huntington Hospital by the Greenlawn Rescue Squad.
About 20 Greenlawn Fire and EMS volunteers were on the scene with two ambulances and a rescue truck, under the command of Assistant Chiefs Kurt Allen and Mike Zeis. Firefighters also applied an absorbent for a resulting fuel spill from the crash, officials said.
There were no further details immediately available as to the cause of the crash, or the conditions of the teenagers.
