Arrest Log: DWI, Chokehold Assault, Man Possessed 2 Pounds of Weed

Tuesday, May 19

At 2:40 p.m, a 34-year-old Huntington Station man was arrested for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle after police say he was driving a 1999 Ford truck with an unregistered trailer attached on Beach Avenue. Police also discovered his license was revoked one time for a DWI and suspended one time for failing to pay a driver responsibility assessment.

At 7:50 a.m., Alessandro Posillico, 27, of Huntington, was arrested for DWI, DWAI drugs and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument after he was pulled over for an unsafe lane change on Fort Salonga Road.

Tuesday, May 24

At 6:35 p.m., Joseph Norton, 48, of Northport, was arrested for criminal obstruction of breathing of blood circulation after police say he put someone into a chokehold, causing them respiratory distress and pain on Woodbine Avenue. [Mugshot not available]

At 6:35 p.m., a 27-year-old Northport man was charged with third-degree assault after being involved in a physical altercation on Woodbine Avenue. He was issued a field appearance ticket in lieu of his arrest.

At 10:15 p.m., a 35-year-old Northport woman was arrested for fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana after she was seen smoking a marijuana cigarette in public view on Scudder Avenue.

Thursday, May 26

At 1:35 p.m., an 18-year-old Asharoken man was arrested after police responded to a Laurel Avenue location and found five pills believed to be PCP in his possession. He was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

At 9:51 p.m., a 23-year-old Huntington woman was arrested for fourth-degree criminal mischief for damaging a car on Laurel Avenue.

Friday, May 27

At 10:01 p.m., a 56-year-old Northport man was arrested for fourth-degree criminal mischief after police responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Soper Avenue.

Saturday, May 28

At 2:45 a.m., Jaimie Argent, 36, of Huntington, was arrested for multiple counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Laurel Avenue.

At 9:59 p.m., Bernardo Roldan, 27, of East Northport, was arrested after police found him in possession of two pounds of marijuana and two vials of concentrated cannabis on Fort Salonga Road. He was charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
