Arrest Log: Man Flees Crash on Foot, Fails to Use Interlock Device

Wednesday, Oct. 5
At an unknown time, Kevin Madden, 32, of Brooklyn, was arraigned in Northport Village Court and his mother posted $2,250 cash bail. Madden was arrested May 31 at 8:01 p.m. for fleeing the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Fort Salonga Road on foot. It was determined Madden had a revoked driver’s license and was required to use an interlock device, police said. He was charged with leaving the scene of an auto accident, circumvention of interlock and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

At 2:18 p.m., a 55-year-old Fort Salonga man was arrested for second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a tinted window violation on Scudder Avenue.

Thursday, Oct. 6
At 10:20 a.m., a 20-year-old High Springs woman was arrested for third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle after police pulled her over on Woodbine Avenue for failing to stop for a stop sign. Police say they determined she had no authorization to operate the Enterprise rental vehicle. Enterprise was contacted and said they would like to press charges.

Friday, Oct. 7
At 9:11 p.m., a 25-year-old Northport woman was arrested for fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment on Laurel Street.
