Bongiorno Blast: A Fundraiser to Benefit the Bongiorno Family in Northport

Former Northport residents Michele & John Bongiorno are each fighting a battle against cancer.

Michele was diagnosed in September with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer which has metastasized to her lungs. Shortly thereafter, John was tested and diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

Michele and John have moved to Houston, TX so they can get treatment. Their children - Olivia, John Jr. and Sophia - are going between the family home in Alabama (where they relocated in July 2012 from Northport), to Houston when possible. They are being cared for by friends and family.

A group of Northport friends have come together to raise funds for their treatment, everyday needs (meals, rent, transportation, etc.) and hopefully bring some smiles to their beautiful faces.
