A driver traveling south on Waterside Avenue just beyond Crab Meadow Beach lost control and veered off the road at approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The car ventured in to the marsh just past the bend at Soundview Terrace.
Suffolk police and Northport Fire Department personnel responded. Suffolk Emergency Medical Squad pulled the vehicle out of the marsh. Northport police controlled traffic.
It is not known if the the driver was transported to the hospital at this time.
