Cops: 2 Men Sought in Huntington Station Theft

The duo picked up chainsaws and backpack blowers from a store, and left without paying, police say.

Suffolk County Police seek the public’s help in identifying and finding the two men detectives say stole merchandise from the Home Depot store in Huntington Station.

Police say two unknown men entered the Home Depot at 839 New York Avenue on May 2, and removed two Echo Timberwolf chainsaws and two Echo backpack blowers from the display area. The men placed the items into shopping carts and exited the store without paying for the merchandise.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
