East Northport Fire Department Annual Parade and Fair to Kick Off This Week

The East Northport Fire Department Annual Parade and Fair will be kicking off this week.

The festivities will begin on Wednesday, August 3 starting at 7 p.m.

The parade, which will follow a different route from previous years, will start at Fifth Avenue and Larkfield Road and head north on Larkfield Road ending at the East Northport firehouse on 1 9th Avenue, where the fair will take place.

The fair will run until Friday, August 6 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. On Saturday, August 7 it will open at 5 p.m.

Guests can enjoy live musical entertainment from several different bands throughout the week including: Mama's Darkside on Thursday, Just Cause on Friday and Group Therapy on Saturday.

Attendees can also participate in several different rides and games for both kids and adults. Local firefighters will be cooking up hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, zeppoles, cotton candy, ice cream and cold beverages.
