East Northport Man Seriously Hurt In Greenlawn Motorcycle Crash
BREAKING: The motorcyclist suffered a serious compound leg fracture and a broken wrist, police say.
An East Northport man suffered serious injuries after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle on Tuesday night in Greenlawn, police say.
According to authorities, James Neary, 52, was operating a 2002 Yamaha motorcycle southbound on Broadway when he struck a 2011 Hyundai at 10:35 p.m. The Hyundai was traveling northbound on Broadway and attempting to make a left turn onto Aster Street when the crash occurred.
Neary was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore by the Greenlawn Fire Department to be treated for a serious compound leg fracture and a broken wrist. The 21-year-old Greenlawn man driving the Hyundai was not injured.

The crash is under investigation by Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives.
