Ecumenical Lay Council Local Food Pantry Maintains Normal Hours
Cash, checks, grocery gift cards accepted as donations
Northport, NY...April 2, 2020... The Ecumenical Lay Council's (ELC) food pantry, located at the Presbyterian Church in Northport (330 Main Street), is maintaining its regular hours: Monday through Thursday, 10 AM to 12 PM.
Volunteers at the pantry are servicing clients curbside, outside the pantry's entrance. The protocol is being carried out following all safety guidelines recommended by the C.D.C. and Long Island Cares, Inc.
At this time, the pantry is accepting only donations of cash, checks, and grocery store gift cards. These donations can be given to the volunteers on hand during the pantry's hours of operation, or checks can be made out to “The Ecumenical Lay Council of Northport-East Northport" and mailed to The ELC of Northport East Northport, P.O. Box 675, Northport, NY 11768.
