Northport police and firefighters responded Thursday afternoon just before 2 p.m. to reports of an electrical fire at Carole's Corner Fine Jewelry located 816 Fort Salonga Road. Traffic was managed by department personnel while the situation was investigated inside the store. The emergency was declared under control by 2 p.m.
