Elwood Booster Club Donates Over $200G to Schools

We would like to thank all our donors and our community for their generous support of our programs and events. Since 2008, you have enabled Elwood Booster Club to donate over $200,000 to support arts, academics and athletics in Elwood Public Schools as follows:

• Academic Materials and Programs: $57,000
• Student Activities and Clubs: $40,000
• Major Renovation of the JGHS Baseball Field: $43,000
• JGHS Track Refurbishment: $20,000
• Harley and Boyd Playground Renovations: $18,000
• Elwood Music Equipment and Trips: $17,000
• Other equipment and materials: $5,000
• TOTAL DONATIONS SINCE 2008: $200,000

Our most recent donations of $30,000 this fall to Elwood Public Schools fund leveled libraries at the Harley Avenue Elementary and James H. Boyd Intermediate Schools and restore the International Club, Robotics Club, TV/Media Club and Morning Homework Club at Elwood Middle School. This would not be possible without your generosity.

Please join us on Sunday, Dec 7, for the Long Island premier of the musical production of “A Christmas Story” at the John W. Engeman Theater in Northport, NY. Our celebration begins at 5:30 pm with a private reception at 5:30 pm featuring light holiday fare, soft drinks, cash bar and great raffle prizes! The show will begin promptly at 7 pm. We are also pleased to announce that Elwood’s own Alexandra Vallejos will be appearing in this performance!
