Elwood Honors Musically-Gifted SCMEA Students

ELWOOD, NY — Congratulations to all Elwood Union Free School District students who were recently selected to participate in the 2020 Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association All-County Music Festival! While the festival was unfortunately canceled this year due to the new coronavirus, there is certainly no lack of talent throughout the district’s schools.

Thirty student musicians from James H. Boyd Intermediate School, Elwood Middle School and John H. Glenn High School were selected to perform in the honors ensembles, divisions I-III.

The district said to expect a video showcasing some clips of the students' performances on its website and Facebook page.
