Elwood Names John Glenn HS December Students of the Month

ELWOOD, NY — Elwood-John H. Glenn High School recently named its four students of the month of December: Jordan Alibrandi, Theodore Flore, Piper Mascaros and Francesco Musi.

Francesco is a freshman, Piper is a sophomore, Jordan is a junior and Theodore is a senior.

Since 2019, one student from each grade has been nominated by their classmates to receive the honor. Students who are selected exemplify respect, responsibility and positive relationships.

Recipients of the award are often described by their nominators as students who push themselves and others to do their best, demonstrate positive school spirit and show perseverance in the face of adversity.

Each month, nominations are sent to the All School Student Council, who narrow down the selection to two nominees from each grade. The Student of the Month Faculty Committee then makes the final decision.

"The Elwood School District congratulates the John H. Glenn High School December Students of the Month!" the district wrote.
