Voters Approve Elwood School Budget, Board Members Elected
Residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.

Elwood residents approved a 2017-18 school budget on Tuesday.
The $60,330,370 budget passed by a vote of 1,158 to 261, according to the school district. The budget is a1.46 percent spending increase over the current year and it comes with a 1.99 percent tax levy increase.
Proposition 3 (change in the Board of Education election process in 2018) passed by a vote of 1,111 to 241.
