Northport-East Northport, Elwood Schools Closed Friday
Friday is another snow day for the districts.
The Northport East-Northport and the Elwood school districts are closed Friday for the second day in a row following Thursday's blizzard-like conditions, the districts announced.
Elwood Superintendent Kenneth Bossert said the dangerous travel conditions are "too great to ignore."
