Elwood Students Create Anti-Bullying Film

The students were commended for their efforts at a recent Board of Education meeting

Elwood Middle School students were commended for reinforcing the district’s anti-bullying program and New York State Dignity for All Students Act in their film, “Knights for Good,” according to school officials

The students were recognized during the Elwood Public School’s Nov. 20 Board of Education meeting.

Inspired by the Nobystander.me campaign, the video sends a message about being a hero in the hallways, encouraging respect for others and standing up for what is right. Middle school guidance counselor Todd Schwartz and technology specialist Martha Hanley worked alongside the team of students and were instrumental in the project’s production.
