Firefighters Still Celebrate Memorial Day Despite Centerport Parade Cancellation

Firefighters held a memorial service in place of the Centerport Fire Department Memorial Day Parade that was cancelled due to inclement weather on Sunday.

At the service, firefighters placed wreaths at the memorial monument on Park Circle, across from the firehouse. A similar service was also held at the Centerport Beach monument on Harrison Drive.
