NORTHPORT, NY — A man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with a robbery that happened at a Stop & Shop in Northport earlier in the week, Suffolk police said.

Eduardo Martinez, 33, of West Palm Beach, Florida, is accused of approaching the pharmacy counter inside of Stop & Shop, at 454 Fort Salonga Road, and handing an employee a note indicating he had a weapon and demanding prescription medication around 12:30 p.m. Monday, police said.
