My son is found safe. I was able to find him with the help of so many concerned neighbors from the entire East Northport Community in particular and Northport, Huntington, Commack, Kings Park, and Setauket. Thank you to the Suffolk County Police and detectives of the 6th and 2nd Precincts for their efforts and patience and kindness. Thank you to the police commissioners office and the sheriff’s dept. Thank you to the East Northport Library. All you Mom’s who have reached out to me and have shared my pain and frustration and confusion. You have helped to soften my burden. You help me to find my strength and confidence. My family thanks you! My son may not realize it yet but he has you to thank for his safe return. To all the students who prayed for Ian and believe in him...keep believing in yourselves. You are shining stars. Your parents and family love you!
