Fusaro New Elwood Board of Ed Prez; Ciccone VP

By a vote of 4-0, the Elwood Board of Education unanimously approved Joseph Fusaro and Dan Ciccone for the top two spots at Tuesday’s reorganization meeting. Trustee Andrew Kaplan was not present.

Both Ciccone and Fusaro were first elected in May 2003. Fusaro served as board vice president for seven of the past eight years. 

Also sworn in were new trustees  to replace outgoing Board President Michael Kaszubski and Trustee Patty Matos.

Peggy Pietzak also administered the Oath of Faithful Performance of Office to Superintendent Peter Scordo, and was herself sworn in as District Clerk.

Nancy Raguzin was also sworn in as District Treasurer. Camille Racioppi, who was not present, will be sworn in at a later date as Claims Auditor.
