There were no reported injuries, officials said.
Nearly 50 firefighters were on the scene with two engines, a ladder truck, two ambulances and fire police. The Greenlawn Fire Department assisted at the scene with a rapid intervention team, while an engine from the Northport Fire Department stood by at East Northport's quarters.
The fire was quickly contained and was declared under control in 25 minutes, under the command of Chief Joe Ervin and Second Assistant Chief Dan Heffernan.
The fire is under investigation by the Suffolk Police Arson Squad and Huntington Town fire marshal.
