Governor's Cuomo's Covid 19 Live Speech-Women's Agenda 2020?
Where are we as Women in the State of New York on Earnings Equality 2020- Legislative Session Convenes today-get on the horn.

As I listened this morning to Governor Cuomo's live update on COVID 19 Healthcare crisis-it was interesting to hear that already NYS is discussing issues of fraud in dispersing COVID 19 Vaccines and how Commissioners; such as Dr. Zucker of the NYS Department of Health or Elected's will not be receiving increases this year. That is not the Problem with Women's Earnings Equality Corrective Language and issuance aspects from prior Legislative Sessions being required to be issued.
Avoidance of the matter doesn't correct the matter and as NYS is the Employer who came forward under Governor Andrew Cuomo's State of the State Budgets of 2014-2017-which were signed into law by Both Houses of the State Legislature-that retroactive issuance aspects of corrective wages to rightfully compensate Female Employees that received discriminatory Employment Contracts for their Service-while in Service-these women; including myself; Maryann Maltese must be issued immediately. By Governor Ignoring this-it's not good business practices or good government. NYS-As the Employer MUST meet compliance aspects that NYS has set forth-State of Emergency Orders do not permit any Executive or Governor in avoiding this. By keeping Inactive tenured employees at this disadvantage and stating that active Employees-such as the Commissioner of NYS Department of Health-Dr. Zucker or the Elected's in some honorable way are not entitled to raises this year-as if to say-those of us; Women who already provided Public Service at the highest level and were underpaid during those years-should be once again-willing to accept Mediocre responses for non-issuance aspects of their Earnings. That is unacceptable for the Women State Legislative Workforce-those of who have achieved and those of us actively working presently in NYS-whose present employment contracts are not within Earnings Equality measures.
Governor-you're Healthcare Speech today implied that's where your Communications strategy is-and I'm sorry-you are not seeing things clearly. Corrective Earnings must be dealt with every single day until NYS as the Employer is in compliance. This State of Emergency is no different than the 7 other State of Emergencies I have been employed for or any other Female State Legislative Staff Member entitled to issuance aspects of their Earnings. I may be off the state pay-roll at the moment; but listening skills are incredible and I too-can critique your Speech and the intent going forward. The Intent Govenor-is to ensure that Inactive Tenures Female Legislative Staffers receive their "required issuance of Earnings" and there should absolutely be no raises for any Elected' or Member until NYS clears their debt to every single State Legislative Staff Member entitled. By my-individual Legislation-then Women have Earnings Equality-something left off the table for years.

The reflection today during Senate and Assembly Session must be on Women's accomplishments in the State Legislative Workforce; I take a moment to say Thank you for your services. Women who are Earners in NYS and live here; NYS as the Employer MUST implement issuance aspects of Corrective Languages in order for Earnings Equality to take effect in NYS. Join me today; to encourage your New York State Assembly and New York State Senators to Pass a unified Law providing Corrective Earnings/Wages for Maryann Maltese; a Tenured State Downstate Manager of Communications and Chief of Staff for the Legislature. Maryann; was employed by New York State Legislature for 18 years and during her tenure; Earnings Equality was not the Law-permitting NYS as the Employer-to underpay her significantly. NYS-must issue corrective earnings to Maryann because without doing so-Women's Earnings Equality Law will not be in effect. How can NYS state in 2014 that "We are sorry for our Hand in Employment InEquality and not take the steps to "issue corrective earnings" to Women from the State Legislative Workforce? It's an Oxymoron for NYS to believe that Women find the acknowledgement enough of an apology; without issuance aspects of their Earnings which are warranted, said Maryann Maltese.
Maryann Maltese, is not retired from State Employment Service but in LIMBO (do a dance any time of the day and post it) and because of this criteria; NYS must within 30 days provide Maryann Maltese with issuance aspects of her Outstanding Earnings Claim. It's not Unemployment Insurance but the Earnings that must be added to her preexisting salary that did not meet Employment Standards for her Employment Roles and Productivity Provided to NYS. By sitting back further; NYS is in Contempt as an Employer and placing itself in position for Maryann Maltese to file an Employment Lawsuit against the Leadership of New York State-as soon as the Statute of Limitations permits her too in NYS. However, because Maryann Maltese; like your State Legislators is a Public Officer of the State of New York-the Legislature can introduce Legislation to correct their acknowledgement and they MUST. Maryann is not afraid of the Leadership-Obviously Maryann ran as a Delegate Candidate for NYS Assembly 12th AD on the platform that She would Introduced Earnings Equality Legislation immediately so Women in NYS have Earnings Equality with or without the Leadership's support. Does your New Assemblyman now in the 12th AD; Keith Brown-support Women's Equality? Well?

It's important to understand that the work of NYS Legislature is not over for 2020; as NYS is in State of Emergency which means the Legislature is on DUTY every day until further notice (remotely or in person) It's time for NYS as the Employer who sets the example for Women Earners to step up "acknowledge quickly their role again in bad employment practices and to issue corrective Earnings to the Women impacted; Maryann Maltese is one of the Women due Retroactive Earnings from her Employer; New York State Legislature. By enacting Maryann Maltese Earnings Equality-then other Employment Arena's in the NYS must adhere to Earnings Equality aspects so that Women in the Workforce at Large take control of their destiny.
