Hawk Attacks 2 More Near Northport Nursery School: Report
Weekday Nursery School has been "held hostage" by the bird, according to the report. Hawk attacks have been reported for months now.
NORTHPORT, NY — A red-tailed hawk attacked two more people in Northport on Wednesday, News 12 Long Island reported. The principal of the Weekday Nursery School told News 12 that the school has "been held hostage by the bird for months."
The school is at 330 Main St. and shares an address with First Presbyterian Church. A churchgoer was attacked about 10 yards away from where a 2-year-old group was playing, according to News 12.
Northport police have reported several hawk attacks over the span of several months now.
