ICYMI: Northport Raises $52,000 To Conquer Childhood Cancer

NORTHPORT, NY — The annual "Brave the Shave" event returned to Northport High School. The event was hosted by the school's national honor society on behalf of the St. Baldrick's Foundation, according to the school district.

Students and staff took turns stepping up to the podium to have their heads shaved in solidarity with children suffering from cancer. The school raised $52,732.
