Iraq War Veteran Returns to Work at Town Hall
The U.S. Army Reservist re-enlisted to join his son.
The welcomed returning veteran Michael D. Kaplan to work Monday, May 23.
Sgt. Kaplan, a member of the United States Army Reserves recently completed a tour of duty in Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Kaplan was first deployed in 1990-91 in support of Operation Desert Storm. He was motivated to re-join the armed forces in 2009, after an 18-year break because his son, Stephen, enlisted in the Army in 2007.
Father and son, together, served in Iraq.
