Jeep Catches Fire At East Northport Gas Station

East Northport firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire late Wednesday night.

EAST NORTHPORT, NY – No one was injured when a Jeep caught fire at an East Northport gas station late Wednesday night.

The East Northport Fire Department responded to the fire at the Metro gas station at the intersection of Fort Salonga Road and Laurel Road. Firefighters quickly worked to extinguish the fire, which was in the engine compartment of a 2013 Jeep Wrangler.

Two engines, one ambulance and a paramedic responded to the scene. There were no injuries reported.
