Keeping Kids Safe Online: A Discussion at Northport Library
Program looks at what children know – and parents don't – about the internet.

How safe are your kids when they peruse the internet? Parents will have the chance to find out at a program at the Northport Public Library on Tuesday, at 7:30 p.m.
That’s when Jim Durand, LCSW and school counselor, will explore some of the most popular websites kids use today. He will address privacy settings, apps, and websites that help parents monitor their child’s internet activities.
