Knights Raise Thousands for Childhood Cancer Research
The Fr. Thomas A. Judge Knight's had their heads shaved and raised more than $8,500 for childhood cancer research!
East Northport - The Fr. Thomas A. Judge Knights of Columbus St. Baldrick's team had lots of fun and cheer while raising more than $8,500 for childhood cancer research at the recent St. Baldrick's BIG Shave event at Miller's Ale House in Commack.
The team also won the event's Top Fundraising Team award (see photos)! Team Captain Bob Slingo said this year's success was due to the hard work and dedication of the team's "Shavees," and they are very grateful to all who donated to help find a cure for childhood cancer.
