Northport Library Announces Photo Shoot For Veterans With Tattoos
ALL military veterans with a tattoo are invited to participate in the Ink Stories: Symbols of Service photo shoot coming this month.

NORTHPORT, NY — The Northport-East Northport Public Library plans to honor veterans with a special art gallery exhibit in November, showcasing photographs of military-inspired tattoos and the stories behind them, it announced.
The next photography session will be held at Northport Library on Wednesday, August 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. Any veteran is welcome to participate, as it's not an event exclusive to Northport.
The purpose of the exhibit, Ink Stories: Symbols of Service, is to give veterans an opportunity to share their tattoos, whether they tell the story of a service member's past achievements or are meant to honor and remember fellow soldiers.
