Maryann Maltese's Campaign Poster Contest-for NYS Assembly 12 AD

Deadline for Poster Submission is extended to March 7th.

Maryann Maltese's Campaign Poster Making Contest deadline for submission has been extended to March 7th, 2020. "The goal of my Campaign Poster Contest is to get my student-constituents involved in this years election process, said Maryann Maltese"-Candidate for NYS Assembly 12th AD.

The Statewide Primary for Statewide office is June 23, 2020. Candidates interested in being placed on the ballot need to petition political party members by asking them to sign their petition. A candidate needs 500 signatures to qualify to be on the line. Petitioning for statewide office started on February 25th and ends on March 30, 2020.

"I'll be going door-to-door in the neighborhood asking fellow Democrats to sign my petition", said Maryann Maltese. However, registered voters can support Maryann Maltese's candidacy in two ways if they choose to; one change their Political Party affiliation by submitting a new voter registration; and or, Vote for Maryann Maltese in the General Election-if she beats the other candidate in the June Primary", said Maryann Maltese

9/11-September 11th was NYS Primary Day and that day I was in the field making sure democracy was alive and well, by encouraging fellow Voters to "Get out the Vote"-a democratic principal woven into the very fabric of the U.S. Constitution and N.Y.S. Constitution, said Maryann Maltese.

"If you're not registered in the same party or your political party doesn't offer candidate choice on the election ballot; then you can't vote in a Primary", said Maryann.

"As an Educator myself, I grab inspiration from many venues, and I want my future constituents to have some fun with this project, instead of me doing all the talking-tell me how they see our community in words and illustrations", said Maryann Maltese.

Maryann Maltese is a Certified Substitute Teacher, Brentwood, UFSD, Bachelors of Political Sciences-Queens College (UFT Scholar), Retired NYS Regional Planner with the NYS Legislature for 18 years in both houses NYS Assembly and NYS Senate, and a licensed Cosmetologist-(Boces-Western Suffolk Northport Campus) and a licensed Real Estate Associate with Douglas Elliman.

Ms. Maltese also has 30 years of Political Campaign Management experience on the Federal and State levels.

"I'm running for the NYS Assembly to bring leadership qualities back to the NYS Assembly. As a Regional Planner I mentored Members and their Staffs on legislative processes and the importance of their involvement with the Community", said Maryann Maltese. This contest is being sponsored to inspire our kids to be the next generation of leaders.

Campaign Poster deadlines-March 7th. Poster Submissions, should include, name of student, grade, age, school and contact information on the back of the poster. District wide prizes will be issued and the winner's posters reproduced and placed in community merchant storefronts and used in Maryann Maltese's Campaign for NYS Assembly. It's recommended that those that Submit hard copy poster drafts make a Jpeg file. Submissions can be delivered to 19 Ringler Drive, East Northport, or to Douglas Elliman Northport Office, 700 Fort Salonga Road.
